2 “प्रभुता करना और डराना यह उसी का काम है; वह अपने ऊँचे-ऊँचे स्थानों में शान्ति रखता है।
3 क्या उसकी सेनाओं की गिनती हो सकती? और कौन है जिस पर उसका प्रकाश नहीं पड़ता?
4 फिर मनुष्य परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में धर्मी कैसे ठहर सकता है? और जो स्त्री से उत्पन्न हुआ है वह कैसे निर्मल हो सकता है?
5 देख, उसकी दृष्टि में चन्द्रमा भी अंधेरा ठहरता, और तारे भी निर्मल नहीं ठहरते।
6 फिर मनुष्य की क्या गिनती जो कीड़ा है, और आदमी कहाँ रहा जो केंचुआ है!”
